Reddit’s search engine is sometimes kind of weird so your results may vary when searching it. One of the easier ways to check for an account is to just replace the word username in this url with the MC username:
https://www.reddit.com/user/MCUSERNAME
So if we were background checking ItsWilven, the url would change to: https://www.reddit.com/user/itswilven
You may also want to try any other usernames available for the user from NameMC, names from other social media, their discord profile etc

If the whitelist applicant does appear to have a Reddit account, you should check their posts and comments.

ℹ️ Note: Reddit has two “styles” - the new modular default appearance, and the old site style which is available by adding “old” to the front of the url: http://old.reddit.com Its up to you which you use, but it might be worth checking both, as sometimes they give different results and Controversial posts can only be seen on the old style.
