Season 2: Trains & Trials is a modded server with a heavy focus on working together as a community.

đź«‚ Community & Closeness
- The culture, rules, and guidelines require players to base together or close to one another. We want players to be able to look out from their homes and see the world change around them as other players work on their own projects and the community progresses through the Community Trials.
- The Community Trials this season are designed to make players work together to progress this season. As a result, all players are expected to be open to playing with any and all other players. If you want to play solo as a lone wolf ignoring everyone the whole time, this season is not for you.

⚙️ A Focused Modpack
- This pack was custom made with each individual mod carefully selected. We wanted this modpack to be lightweight with Create being the main focus. Each mod was selected to ensure minimal overlapping mods, and every mod was intentionally selected to maintain a “Minecraft”-feel. This means there are no weird 3D models, or features that seem wildly out of touch with the base game.
- Trains and Trials is designed to focus around create and the different types of farms and automation possible within the mod. As a result, villager trading will be disabled this season to encourage players to explore this mechanics more.
- As a part of Community Trials, portions of this modpack and certain configurations will be unlocked/enabled over time. This means that even though you may see a mod as a part of the pack, there is no guarantee of when you will get access to it, if at all.

đźš‚ Different Modes of Transport
- This Season we wanted to place an emphasis on different modes of transport. As a result, we’ve made several design decisions to help enforce this. There are no waystones this season, the nether is 1:1 rather than 1:8, and elytras/jetpacks are disabled.

🖥️ Low System Requirements
- Many mod packs are inundated with so many mods and processes running in the client that it rules out some players with lower hardware making it almost impossible for them to participate. Dominion’s Season Two server was designed with this in mind. Most lower performance players should still be able to play this comfortably. However it should be noticed that it will perform worse than our vanilla server.
- While we’ve made an effort to make this modpack friendly to weaker systems, we can not guarantee it to run well on all lower-end systems.

Community Guidelines & Requirements
With community & closeness being a core pillar of this server, we want to outline some guidelines we believe will help foster the right culture.
Lets Actually Play Together
Sounds kind of funny right? Of course we’re playing together on the same server, but how often do you see another player except for special events? We want to change that in Season 2.
We want you to be able to walk out from your base and see the world change around you every day. We want you to visit your neighbors to trade, chat, help each other and work on projects together. We want to encourage collaborating together to merge your ideas together where your bases overlap.
<aside>
🌍 With this in mind, all players are required to build their primary base within 2,000 blocks of 0,0.
</aside>
In addition, it is required that the majority of active players participate in some shape or form in the current Community Trial in order for it to be considered “Complete”.
In-Game Voice Chat
Ever see those let’s plays where youtubers run right up to somebody and talk to them directly? We have that mod installed! It’s a great way to add additional immersion as your friend’s screams softly fade away as they fall into a deep crevasse.
<aside>
🤙 While not required, we strongly encourage the use of the in-game voice chat system over the use of Discord.
</aside>
However please note that we will never require a mic to play on this server. We know that some players do not own a mic or do not wish to use one. That is totally fine 🙂.
Let Folks Know Where You Are
We have a cool mod that lets you carve out an area of the map and mark it as your own little kingdom. It’s a great way to let folks know where your base is so they can visit.
Please note however, that this does not make it so other players cannot build there. It is not a land claim but simply a marker on the map.
