Part of a Curator’s responsibilities is helping the community with shop requests and questions. We have a somewhat complicated but necessary set of rules regarding our shopping district to prevent it from getting out of hand or becoming unfair. It is your responsibility to help uphold these rules.
If a player wishes to create a new shop, they are required to open a ‘New Shop’ ticket via the #📝｜tickets channel.

Shops and Plots are allowed to be bought, sold, auctioned, and given away by the owner to another player. To do so, they will open a ‘Change Ownership’ ticket via #📝｜tickets.
When approving these requests, keep in mind the terms of the deal to ensure it is not against our guidelines. Per the shop ownership rules, deals cannot include special caveats such as “you are not allowed to resell the shop”, or “20% of future profits are mine”, or “you cannot tear down/modify the build”. A shop is owned in its entirety by the new player/s or not at all.
When confirming the details of the deal, be sure to add all parties to the ticket with the following command:
$add @username
Again, when approved this should be immediately updated on the relevant card on the Shops Directory.
