Below is an outline of what to do during a welcome tour. You are of course free to put your own spin on it, just be sure to include the fundamentals. Ensure to give new players time to look around and ask questions.
When a new player joins, firstly ensure they have linked their discord with /link. Ask them in chat if they would like a tour of town. If yes, meet them at the spawn platform. (you can use /spawn for this). You can make some small talk whilst they get this sorted, such as asking about their skin/username or how much experience they have in Minecraft.
There’s a 3x3 map in each corner of the platform that shows each district. This is great to highlight both the scale of spawn, and that we’re separated into individual districts.
